P10 acquired Bonaccord Capital Partners (BCP) from Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI) in September 2021. ASI is a leading global asset manager ($644B in AUM as of Dec 2019), with 50 offices.

BCP is supported by 8 investment team professionals, which have worked together over more than a decade. The investment team has extensive transactional, technical, product and strategic development expertise that encompasses the lifecycle of investment from idea generation to transaction execution, and eventual monetization. Team members have structured and made direct investments with over 100 alternative asset managers across multiple strategy verticals, and have executed over $3 billion in structured alternative transactions including $900 million in growth capital financing and over $750 million in early stage GP investing.

Management

Ajay Chitkara - Managing Partner

Ajay is Managing Partner of Bonaccord Capital Partners and has responsibility for the firm's overall management. Ajay principally focuses on sourcing, investments, and strategic development initiatives. Ajay has nearly three decades of financial experience, including over a decade in alternative investments, having worked at Aberdeen Asset Management, Guggenheim Partners, Swiss Re, and Morgan Stanley. Prior to Bonaccord, Ajay was a Senior Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners, responsible for strategy and corporate development in alternatives. At Swiss Re, Ajay was a senior member of the Equity and Fund-Linked group, where he served as Managing Director, European Head, and member of the global management committee. Ajay shared management oversight of principal investments, structured and direct alternative investment business with $5B of capital. In addition, Ajay spent more than a decade at Morgan Stanley in New York and London, where he helped build out the European equity capital markets franchise. Ajay has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Farhad Dehesh - Partner

Farhad is a Partner of Bonaccord Capital Partners, with principal responsibility for investment origination, underwriting, and strategic development. Farhad has over 23 years’ experience. Prior to the inception of the Bonaccord platform at Aberdeen Standard Investments, Farhad served as a Director at Guggenheim Partners, with responsibility for strategy and corporate development in alternatives. Previously, Farhad worked at Swiss Re, where he served as a Vice President in the Equity and Fund-Linked group, overseeing structured investments and financing in the alternatives segment. Earlier, Farhad held position in investment banking at Bank of America, as well as equity structuring at Morgan Stanley in London. Farhad has an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MSC from the London School of Economics, and a BCom in Finance and Economics from the University of Toronto.

Bradford Pilcher - Partner

Bradford is a Partner of Bonaccord Capital Partners, with principal responsibility for investment origination, underwriting, and strategic development. Bradford has over 17 years’ experience in alternative investments. Prior to the inception of the Bonaccord platform at Aberdeen Standard Investments, Bradford served as a Director at Guggenheim Partners, with responsibility for strategy and corporate development in alternatives. Previously, Bradford worked at Swiss Re, where he served as a Vice President in the Equity and Fund-Linked group, overseeing structured investments and financing in the alternatives segment. Bradford started his career as an Investment Associate at Bridgewater Associates. Bradford has a BA in Middle Eastern Language and Culture from Columbia University.

Charles Korchinski - Partner

Charles is a Principal at Bonaccord Capital Partners, with principal responsibility for investment research. Charles has over 17 years’ experience in financial services, including 14 years in alternative investments. Prior to the inception of the Bonaccord platform at Aberdeen Standard Investments, Charles spent nine years at Larch Lane Advisors, where he served as a Partner and Portfolio Manager. At Larch Lane, Charles managed an array of alternative investment strategies, serving as lead portfolio manager of the Rothschild Larch Lane Alternatives Fund. Charles also worked at Bridgewater Associates, where he served in the analytics group. Charles has a BS in Business from Loyola University.
