Accepting $500 - $50,000 investments
Invest in a short-term product that aims to accommodate investor liquidity needs while also helping to support the growth of future investment opportunities on the Yieldstreet platform. Since May 2019, Yieldstreet has been prefunding future offerings with the Short Term Notes program before they are launched and sold on the platform. To date, over $212M has been funded through this program across 38 offerings, with 29 repaid in full at maturity. All outstanding notes continue to perform in line with expectations.
Yieldstreet investors are scheduled to receive interest payments on a monthly basis at a target annualized target interest rate of 4% over the course of 6 months.
Please refer to the Private Placement Memorandum and the Series Note Supplement for more details about this offering.
Where does an investor lie in terms of priority?
The notes are secured by underlying investments that have been pre-funded by the program. The underlying investments may include but are not limited to positions across the capital structure, including debt and equity across all asset classes offered on Yieldstreet. Yieldstreet holds the first-loss position in every series offered on the platform. Yieldstreet purchases 5% of the aggregate notes issued in the series in a first-loss position providing a buffer to all other investors in the event of any realized loss.
In certain cases, Yieldstreet may utilize senior leverage facilities when funding an offering. In these cases, the notes would have a subordinated interest in the underlying collateral.
How do I get paid?
The notes have a term of 6 months. Yieldstreet investors can expect to receive monthly interest payments at a fixed target net annualized yield of 4% on their full investment amount. Principal is expected to be repaid at maturity.
What is the collateral underlying the transaction?
Yieldstreet will primarily utilize the proceeds of the notes at its discretion to fund upcoming offerings in any industry. The underlying investments may include, but are not limited to, loans, leases, real estate interests, receivables, or participation interests. Investors will be able to track their Short Term Note investment progress and interest payments in their portfolio, but specific information regarding the offerings prefunded using note proceeds will not be shared.
The program is secured by the investments that have been pre-funded and all funds raised are used exclusively for pre-funding.
