Dear Yieldstreet Community,

The world has been turned upside down by the COVID-19 pandemic. This virus has affected human life and society in ways we have not seen before—impacting all we hold dear. During this time, we have seen our beloved New York City, the city that never sleeps, come to a grinding halt. At Yieldstreet, we have always believed that we have a responsibility to give back, and that holds true now more than ever.

Our mission: Rally our community of caring investors and friends to raise funds for those hit hardest in New York City by COVID-19
We are launching a fundraising effort for community-based organizations in our home town of New York City, with 100% of net proceeds donated to Robin Hood, New York City’s largest poverty-fighting organization. Robin Hood partners with over 250 nonprofits to support food, housing, education, legal services, workforce development, and more to New Yorkers. As a bonus, all donations of $25 or more will receive a limited edition T-shirt, as a symbol that we are stronger together. Once your donation is made we will follow up in 3-5 business days with instructions on how to receive your shirt.

Robin Hood has activated a special relief fund, A Response to COVID-19, to address the coronavirus and its effects. Since the launch of the relief fund, Robin Hood has given 339 grants across 299 organizations, distributing over $23 million. The relief work is focused on effectiveness, efficiency, and partnership through working with foundations, both locally and globally, to ensure an informed and coordinated response. Your donation helps ensure that New Yorkers have access to life-saving services for their families. As always, Robin Hood’s board covers all overhead. This means that 100% of your gift is used to support vulnerable New Yorkers who are affected most.

About Robin Hood Relief for COVID-19:

  • Robin Hood is focused on quickly providing for vulnerable populations that are already experiencing the economic and traumatic impacts of COVID-19. The COVID-19 relief fund has distributed $23 million to date, split between emergency cash assistance ($11.89 million) and general operating ($11.4 million – food, benefits, health, etc.).  Robin Hood’s COVID-19 relief fund is benefiting New York-based organizations such as:
    • City Harvest – $370,000 to support emergency food distribution at food pantries and kitchens
    • Children’s Health Fund – $75K to support telehealth services to children and families
    • New York City Health + Hospital – $365,000 to provide meals for healthcare workers.

If you would like to support these efforts, please click the button below to be directed to a PayPal page for the Yieldstreet Foundation. All donations received will be sent through the Yieldstreet Foundation to the Robin Hood relief fund. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those hit hardest by the pandemic.

Thank you!
