NEW YORK, November 20, 2023 — Avenue One, a service platform, brokerage, and investment marketplace for institutional owners, buyers, and sellers of residential rental real estate, and Yieldstreet, a leading private markets investing platform, today announced the disposition of 43 newly built rental homes in the Metro Atlanta area.
In 2021, Yieldstreet created a residential property investment offering for its investors, partnering with Avenue One to acquire, renovate, lease, manage, and stabilize the properties. Avenue One brokered the sale of the portfolio through its investment marketplace to one of the largest non-public residential rental real estate operators in the U.S.
“We partnered with Avenue One to provide Yieldstreet investors access to the attractive rental home market, which is underpinned by strong fundamentals but challenging to navigate,” said Tejas Joshi, Director of Single-Family Residential at Yieldstreet. “We’re delighted that we were able to efficiently manage our portfolio and achieve a positive outcome for our members in a challenging economic environment. We look forward to continuing our work with Avenue One on future projects around the country.”
“Yieldstreet’s innovative offering combined with our full spectrum of bespoke services has helped ensure the success of the portfolio from start to finish,” said Allison Arest, Head of Asset Marketplace at Avenue One. “Our investment marketplace helps investors access market commentary and optimize liquidity across multiple channels. Through the direct relationships we maintain with buyers and sellers of rental properties, we were able to successfully provide liquidity and returns to Yieldstreet’s investors.”
Avenue One combines proprietary data and a network of local partners to identify, acquire, renovate, lease, manage, and broker residential rental properties for institutional investors. In less than three years, the company has expanded its operational footprint to 21 U.S. markets, closed thousands of transactions, and deployed billions for investors.
